Maryam grew up in Al Ain, surrounded by the rich traditions of Emirati culture. After completing her degree in Cultural Studies, she met Hans, a German software engineer, during his visit to the UAE. Their shared love for travel and exploration sparked a connection, leading to their marriage. They moved to Bamberg, Germany, where Maryam now works as a Cultural Liaison, bridging the gap between Emirati and German cultures. One of my most cherished travel experiences was visiting a local family in a small village in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Sharing a traditional meal and hearing their stories opened my eyes to a completely different way of life. Japan is, without a doubt, my best destination. The blend of ancient traditions and modern innovation is captivating. My most memorable hotel stay was at the Sun Gardens Dubrovnik in Croatia. The stunning seafront location, combined with family-friendly activities and luxurious amenities, made it the perfect base for exploring the Dalmatian Coast with my family.
