We will get up early to have a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the border between Peru and Brazil, we will cross the Madre de Dios River to pass through the control of migrations in the Peruvian border called Iñapari and arrive at the control of migration of Brazil called Assis. The Madre de Dios River belongs to the Amazon basin. It is a tributary of the Beni River. It has an approximate length of 1 150 km and is a binational river, since it runs through the southeast part of Peru (655 km1 through the Madre de Dios region) and northwestern Bolivia. Drain a basin of more than 100,000 km². Among the many activities, which take place on its banks, include mango plantations and gold mining, in addition to selective logging of fine wood and agriculture, which cause serious environmental problems. Along the river there are several national parks and reserves, in particular the Peruvian national parks of Manú (also declared as Manu Biosphere Reserve) and Bahuaja-Sonene, the also Peruvian Tambopata-Candamo Nature Reserve and the Bolivian Manupiri- National Reserve Heath After this tour we will have lunch in the City of Epitacolandia that belongs to Brazil. Epitaciolândia is a municipality in Brazil, located in the southeast of Acre. Its population is 14,193 inhabitants, its extension of 1,659 km² and its population density of 8.56 inhabitants / km². It limits to the north with the municipality of Xapuri, to the east with Bolivia and to the west with the municipality of Brasileira. It emerged 13 years ago from the division of the municipality of Brasileira. Its urban area is separated from that of the municipality of Brasileira by the Acre river. The Maternity Park is a symbol in Rio Branco, like other parks in this state, it is identified by a sculpture in the style of Fernando Botero (Colombia), I don't know if it is original.
