Great day, great captain. We cruised from St Thomas to St John and saw the small, beautiful islands. Jumped in the water a couple of times to snorkle with fish in among the corals - and even met a turtle. Also many, good chats with the captain on the history of the islands, etc.
We recommend!

His private boat tour to BVI was the highlight of our trip. I would rate Captain Chris a 15 out of 10. Being a 4th generation Captain he was extremely knowledgeable and ran the SAFEST boat I’ve ever been on. He took time to listen to all the places we wanted to hit and then had AMAZING suggestions on how to schedule to day so we could fit it ALL IN!!!
Please look at the first pic I posted. This is my 25 year old daughter cliff jumping. She could NOT have done this without his EXTENSIVE knowledge about this exact spot. It was very difficult for her to even get up on the rock because there were sea urchins EVERYWHERE. But Captain Chris knew it was safe if she just listened to his instructions. He told her exactly where to swim to enter. Exactly where to place her hands and feet (literally on what exact rock). She was a little leery at first because of the urchins but we all trusted Captain Chris’ knowledge. Once up on the Rock, he even instructed her where to place her hands and feet to scale up the little mountain. Then finally how and where to jump into the water. And this was just the START of our trip!
We hit up EVERYWHERE in the BVI including Sandy Spit (and absolute must); Foxy’s, Willy T’s, The Indians, The Caves of Normand Island and so much more.
Also he makes great suggestions to keep the fun going. Ex: When we placed our order at Willy T’s, it was going to take an hour to get our food. He suggested we get back on the boat and hit up the caves for snorkeling quick. We did just that and by the time we got back, our food was ready. No sitting around waiting.
Top notch Captain that knows how to run the day that YOU WANT and makes sure you get the most out of EVERY MINUTE.
Don’t hesitate to book with him!!!

We highly recommend these guys, they know the waters around the Virgin Islands US & British. The caption Chris is a great guy, he showed us little beaches that most people never get to see, let alone bask in the sun on. We will be booking again them very soon.

Amazing tour/ snorkeling and private beach experience! Went with my husband and we had the pet day out with Chris! He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable after all the safety precautions are out of the way! He even took pictures for us! This was truly a one of a kind experience with his knowledge of history here and the perfect places to swim with the sea turtles and beaches that have the softest sand you have ever felt between your toes! He was great with allowing us to explore and follow close by with the boat to reassure safety as my husband recently is recovery from heart procedures. It was picture perfect with the views of serine sea and nature all around from island to island! We will definitely come back with the whole family and rent 2 boats . Definitely recommend! Put on your bucket list!

Charter company “Local Legends” is not hyperbole! Captain Zach, an American born in the BVI, has decades of boating and client service and experience in the USVI. They run a ship-shape but totally comfortable boat for our small party excursions. Well versed in history, geography, flora and fauna, Zach was a low-key delight. Frequent stops/slows gave us ample opportunity to choose what we wanted to experience whether it was snorkeling with turtles, grabbing a bite to eat, exploring land trails to see wild donkeys and hermit crabs, or drinking local at Lime Out, Zach and Local Legends tailored our day-out perfectly. Prices were reasonable, experiences were exceptional.
