    The 2.5 hour morning tour of Sasso Caveoso was very informative. Our guide,Antonio, has a very deep knowledge of the Sassi’. He told us things that we would never have noticed or thought of if we had walked on our own.

    The whole experience was fantastic. Georgia our guide was incredibly informative but also so aware of individual needs especially stopping when possible in the shade. Our visit to Matera was so much better by doing this tour! Thanks Georgia !!

    We had the most amazing tour of Sassi by Antonio- a local guide from Matera. We learnt about history, architecture, art, water management and the way of life in this ancient town. The tour was detailed and so interesting. We can’t recommend enough. One of the best tours we’ve ever done. Thanks Antonio!

    The views. The history. Rupestrian church is admirable. The guide told us a lot of things you would miss if you walk around on your own. You can do that besides the tour.
