    We stopped there while on our first day of the west highlands way way hike. It was great idea. Very much enjoyed the tour and the tasting at the end. Bought some at the store though only small bottles that would fit in out pack. Really a good intro to Scotland whiskey

    Remarkable, excellent. Im not whiskey lover but its wondefurl to experienced the whiskey tasting. I will recommend this place.

    It’s a traditional distillery and very atmospheric, the staff were great but above all the level of detail and knowledge was impressive

    I went on the Master of Malt experience with my father in May, we were lucky enough to have Diane who was very friendly and provided a knowledgeable tour full of surprising facts. We then went into the old manor house and were able to blend our own whisky from our choice of 5 different bottles (all or which were at cask strength). A very fun day out.

    Your experience will begin with an in-depth guided tour of Glengoyne Distillery and No.1 Warehouse. You will then take your seat in the Sample Room of the Distillery Manager's House for a hands-on whisky making experience where you will create your own single malt, and then bottle it to take home. The Malt Master plays a crucial role in making Glengoyne whisky, balancing the flavours from different casks. Displayed before you will be a selection of cask strength whiskies hand-selected from the Glengoyne warehouse. You’ll see the difference in colour immediately; between the American oak and European, and between the previous fill of sherry or bourbon. A taste of each, and you assume the role of the Malt Master; adding a little from a bourbon cask here, bringing out a touch more sherry wood there. Like a true Malt Master, you’ll taste and tinker your way to a unique cask strength, un-chillfiltered Glengoyne Highland Single Malt. It’s a one-off creation, presented to you in a 200ml Glengoyne bottle with a record of your recipe. This experience is only suitable for adults aged 18-years and over. Under 18s will not be admitted
