Born and raised in the medieval town of Sighisoara, Romania, Andreea always had a passion for history and travel. After graduating from university with a degree in linguistics, she worked as a translator for several years. A chance encounter with Pieter, a Dutch software engineer, led her to relocate to Amsterdam. While she continues to work as a freelance translator, she started her travel blog on Evendo as a way to share her experiences and love for exploring new cultures, balancing her professional life with her passion for travel.

Parma, Italy. The city is home to a population of food-lovers. Cobblestone streets lace Parma's centro storico, opening out on to petite piazzas graced by ancient churches and family-run trattorias serving scrumptious fare. Parma ham and parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese) both originate here.
