Today was a day of exploration and immersion into the natural and historical wonders of Con Dao. From pristine islands to verdant plantations and delectable seafood, every moment was a testament to the island's unique charm. It's days like these that remind me why I love traveling solo—the freedom to explore at my own pace and fully absorb the essence of a place.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at TYNA FOOD & COFFEE. This cozy spot was the perfect place to fuel up for the day's adventures. The strong Vietnamese coffee, a staple here, was exactly what I needed to kickstart my morning. After a satisfying meal, I set off to explore Hòn Tre Lớn.

Hòn Tre Lớn, also known as Big Bamboo Island, is a true gem. Getting there involved a scenic boat ride, which in itself was an experience. The views of the town receding into the distance and the vast expanse of the sea were simply breathtaking. As we approached the island, the lush greenery and serene beaches were a sight to behold.
The island is a haven for nature lovers, with its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. I spent a good part of the morning snorkeling, marveling at the underwater world. The coral was incredibly colorful, and I spotted numerous fish darting in and out of the reef. It was a truly immersive experience, and I felt a deep connection with nature.

After my underwater adventure, I took some time to relax on the beach. The sand was soft and white, and the water was crystal clear. I found a quiet spot under a palm tree and simply soaked in the tranquility. It was the perfect opportunity to reflect on my journey so far and appreciate the simple pleasures of life.
Leaving Hòn Tre Lớn, I felt refreshed and invigorated, ready for the next part of my adventure: Sở Rẫy.

As I prepare for my final day on Con Dao, I'm filled with a mix of anticipation and nostalgia. Tomorrow, I plan to visit Con Son Island, eager to explore more of its hidden corners. I'll start my day with breakfast at Nhà hàng Thu Ba, followed by lunch at Nhà hàng Phố Biển. For my final dinner, I'm looking forward to trying The Den, a restaurant I've heard great things about. Though my time here is coming to an end, the memories and experiences I've gathered will stay with me long after I leave.

Con Dao has a number of cultural events and festivals throughout the year, including the Lunar New Year, which is celebrated in January or February. There's also the Con Dao Tourism Festival in April, featuring cultural performances, food stalls, and traditional games. For now, I'll rest up and prepare for my final day of exploration, cherishing every moment in this beautiful corner of the world. Perhaps I'll even swing by Sea sense bar and grill again for one last drink before I leave. Good night from Con Dao!
