This Explorers Travel Highlights

  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel experiences was stumbling upon a hidden music shop in a small alley in Naples, Italy. The shop owner, an elderly gentleman with twinkling eyes, shared stories of the instruments he had collected over a lifetime. He even allowed me to play a centuries-old mandolin, filling the tiny space with beautiful, resonant sounds. It was an unplanned, intimate moment that perfectly captured the magic of cultural immersion.

  • Favourite Destination

Florence, Italy. The city's rich history, stunning art, and delicious cuisine create an unforgettable experience. Walking through the Uffizi Gallery, standing in awe of Michelangelo's David, and enjoying authentic Florentine steak are moments I will always treasure.

  • Best Hotel

The Gritti Palace in Venice, Italy. The hotel exudes elegance and charm, with its stunning views of the Grand Canal, luxurious rooms, and impeccable service. Waking up to the gentle sounds of the city and enjoying a cappuccino on the terrace was an absolute dream.

  • My Adventurous Destination

Iceland. Exploring the rugged landscapes, from the glaciers to the volcanoes, was an exhilarating experience. Driving the Ring Road, hiking to waterfalls, and witnessing the Northern Lights dance across the sky pushed me out of my comfort zone and filled me with a sense of wonder.

  • My Food Destination

Istanbul, Turkey. The city is a culinary paradise where Europe meets Asia. From the savory street food like doner kebab and simit to the exquisite flavors of Turkish delight and baklava, every meal was a delightful adventure. Exploring the Spice Market was a feast for the senses, and I loved learning about the history and culture behind each dish.
