Daniel, ever the pragmatist, was simply happy for the caffeine fix. I managed to remember my camera today, so I was happy about that. It's easy to forget things when you're excited to explore a new place.
With our appetites satisfied, we ventured towards Ras El Ma, a local spring and waterfall located just outside the northeastern gate of the medina. The walk itself was an experience, as we navigated through the bustling streets, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Chefchaouen. The air was filled with the sounds of locals going about their daily lives, the aroma of spices, and the visual feast of blue hues at every turn. As we approached Ras El Ma, the sound of rushing water grew louder, creating a sense of anticipation.

The bar had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, a perfect spot to people-watch and soak in the local vibe. Daniel and I chatted with fellow travelers, sharing stories and tips, forging connections that transcended borders and cultures. I even managed to brush up on my French with a couple from Quebec.
