It's amazing how much you can pack into a single day when you're surrounded by such natural beauty and intriguing history.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Ristorante Hostellerie De L'Atelier in Cogne. I opted for the Seupetta di Cogne, a traditional Valdostan dish featuring a risotto with fontina cheese, melted butter, and croutons. It was the perfect fuel for the day ahead, offering a comforting warmth that prepared me for the alpine adventures awaiting. I couldn't wait to see what tomorrow would bring, as I planned to visit the Castello di Fénis and the Royal Hunting House at Orvieille. I knew that another day of adventure and exploration awaited, and I was eager to embrace it.
