As my Senegalese adventure draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the incredible experiences and vibrant culture that Saint-Louis has offered. Today, my final day, was a blend of artistic exploration, culinary delights, and a final immersion into the heart of this captivating city. It's hard to believe ten days have already passed since I arrived with my friends, eager to explore the cultural charms of this unique destination.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Ndiaye Restauranty. I opted for a traditional Senegalese breakfast, a flavorful combination of spiced rice, fish, and local coffee, which gave me the perfect energy boost for the day ahead. It reminded me of the small Caribbean restaurants back home in Micoud, Saint Lucia, where the food is always served with a side of warmth and community spirit.

I was struck by the serene atmosphere and the sense of history within its walls. Although I am not Catholic, I found a sense of peace inside the Diocèse de Saint-Louis. The quiet space offered a moment of reflection. It was a reminder that regardless of one's beliefs, there's a shared human need for connection and contemplation.

Next on my list was Galerie Arte, a renowned gallery specializing in contemporary African art and design.
