I couldn't help but think about how different this was from the structured life we lead back in Bielefeld. The spontaneity and warmth of the people here were truly refreshing.

For lunch, we headed to Lompoule Sur Mer, a restaurant known for its fresh seafood. Tomorrow, we plan to visit Ferme Sonar and Sénégal, hoping to soak in even more of the local culture before we say goodbye to this magical place. I am particularly looking forward to visiting Ferme Sonar, a local farm, and experiencing the agricultural side of Senegal. I am also excited to see more of Sénégal itself and learn about its history and culture. I’ve heard whispers of a lively bar, Bar de Darou khoudoss, that we might visit to celebrate our last night. It sounds like the perfect way to end our adventure.

As I reflect on today, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences we've shared as a family.
