I also picked up a few small trinkets for Kai, hoping he'd appreciate a little piece of Moroccan culture. I remember when I brought him back a small tiki statue from Hawaii when he was younger, and he carried it around for years.



For dinner, I chose Restaurant Terrasse Djebli, enticed by its rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city. As the sun began to set, the blue hues of Chefchaouen deepened, creating a magical ambiance. I ordered a traditional Moroccan meal – a tagine with chicken and vegetables – and savored every bite as I watched the city transform under the twilight sky. The call to prayer echoed through the valley, adding to the mystical atmosphere. It was a moment I'll never forget.

I'll be sure to pack my hiking boots and plenty of water, ready for a day of adventure.



I'm also planning to try Mounir Food for breakfast. I’ve heard good things about their traditional Moroccan breakfast options, so I’m excited to see what they have to offer. And for lunch, I’m thinking of heading to Chez Aziz. I've read that they serve delicious, authentic Moroccan cuisine at reasonable prices, which is always a plus. Finally, for dinner, I'm considering Mandala. I'm in the mood for something different, and I've heard that they serve excellent Italian food.
