    If you are starting from the Herat Citadel, exit the citadel grounds and head east along the main road (Qala-e Ikhtiyar Khan). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Ghazi Street. Turn right onto Ghazi Street and walk until you reach the main square in front of the National Museum of Herat. From the square, walk south along the narrow street (Kucha Shahrak) until you reach the Taqi Zafar (the old bazaar). Continue through the bazaar, keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards Fakir Khana Museum, which is located near the end of the bazaar. The museum should be on your left. Look for a building with traditional architecture.
