Getting There

  • Driving

    To reach Pratt's Ferry Cahaba River Preserve from Centreville, head south on AL-5 S. Turn left onto River Bend Spur, then right onto Bibb Co Hwy 27. Turn left onto River Bend Road/Bibb Co Hwy 26. The preserve is on your right immediately after crossing the bridge over the Cahaba River [3]. There is a parking area that can accommodate about 10 cars [4]. Note that for loading and unloading boats behind the locked gate, you must email alpreserveaccess@tnc.org in advance to request permission [4]. There are no fees for parking or access.
