Once you reach Piedmont, take a right onto AL-200 W, and follow the road for about 1 mile. The Historic Coosa Thatcher Cotton Mill will be on your left at the address: Piedmont, AL 36272. There is no entry fee to visit the site, but be cautious of the surroundings as it is a historical landmark.

Start by taking a bus from your location in Coosa Valley to the nearest bus station in Piedmont. Once you arrive at the Piedmont bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to the mill, which is about a 20-minute walk (approximately 1 mile).
