The Alabama Center for the Arts (ACA) is a cornerstone of Decatur's downtown revitalization, offering a unique partnership between Athens State University, Calhoun Community College, the City of Decatur, and Morgan County. The ACA campus comprises two state-of-the-art buildings: the Visual Arts Building and the Performing Arts Building. The Performing Arts Building, opened in 2016, is equipped with classrooms, laboratories, a black box theater, a recording studio, and rehearsal rooms for music and theater programs.
