From Dismals Canyon, start by heading northwest on County Road 8. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 24. Turn left onto County Road 24 and drive for approximately 7 miles. You will then merge onto Alabama Highway 157. After about 5 miles, take the exit toward US-72 W. Merge onto US-72 W and continue for about 6 miles. Take the exit for AL-47 S toward Tuscumbia. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Loop Road. The entrance to Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve will be on your right at 251 Loop Rd, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
