    Pelham City Park is located at 555 Ball Park Rd, Pelham, AL 35124. From I-65, take exit 246 for Pelham. Follow signs for Hwy 31 and turn west onto Pelham Parkway (also known as Ball Park Road). The park will be on your right. There is ample parking available within the park. Parking is free.

    From Birmingham, you can take the MAX Transit line 31 bus towards Pelham. The bus will take you to the Galleria. From there, you would need to take a taxi or ride-share to the park. The bus fare is $2.00. A taxi or rideshare from the Galleria to the park will be an additional cost.

Pelham City Park, located on Ball Park Road in Pelham, Alabama, is a vibrant hub for recreation and community engagement. Encompassing a substantial area, the park offers diverse amenities, including sports fields, walking trails, and picnic areas. The park boasts extensive sports facilities, including baseball, softball, tee-ball fields, a full-sized football/soccer field, and a smaller practice field. There are also eleven hard-surfaced tennis courts and batting cages available. A half-mile walking track encircles the larger baseball diamonds, offering a scenic route for walkers and joggers. Adjacent to the tee-ball fields, a playground provides a safe and engaging space for children to play. The park also features a picnic area with a covered pavilion, perfect for family outings and group gatherings. Beyond its recreational amenities, Pelham City Park is home to the Pelham Chamber of Commerce and the Pelham Tennis Center. In 2018, a new Pelham Public Library opened at the park, providing access to knowledge and resources for all. An obelisk within the park serves as a memorial, inscribed with the names of prominent residents who have contributed to the city's history. These include Paul Yeager, the first Mayor of Pelham; Willie Mae Dennis, a long-time city clerk; Patricia Fuhrmeister, a probate judge; and Philip Davis, the first Pelham Police Department officer to be killed in the line of duty. The park hosts various events throughout the year, including outdoor movie nights, fitness motivator events, and other seasonal activities. These events draw community members together, fostering a sense of belonging and enhancing the quality of life in Pelham. In 2011, the city expanded the park by purchasing the 27-acre Bella Vista Mobile Home Park and an additional 10 acres of private land.
