From Shoals, Alabama, get onto US-72 E. Continue on US-72 E for approximately 40 miles. Merge onto I-65 S toward Montgomery. After about 60 miles, take exit 261 for US-78 W toward Birmingham. Continue on US-78 W for approximately 20 miles, then take exit 5 for GA-61 S toward Dallas. Follow GA-61 S for about 10 miles until you reach Mt Tabor Church Rd. Turn left onto Mt Tabor Church Rd, and the Pickett's Mill Battlefield State Historic Site will be on your right at 4432 Mt Tabor Church Rd, Dallas, GA 30157.
