Getting There

  • Driving

    The U.S. Army Aviation Museum is located on Fort Novosel. If arriving from Dothan, take Highway 84 West and exit at Daleville, then follow Daleville Ave (Alabama 85) to the Daleville Gate. From Enterprise, take Rucker Blvd (Alabama 248) to the Enterprise Gate. Note that all visitors 16 and older must have a valid photo ID for entry. Vehicle operators need a valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance. Depending on security levels, access may be restricted. There is designated parking available at the museum. There are no tolls. Parking is free.

    If arriving at Dothan Airport (DHN), the only public transportation option to Fort Novosel is a taxi. The distance is approximately 30 miles, and a taxi ride will cost around $60-$75.
