From the center of Vlora, head southeast on Rruga Aleksandër Moisiu, then turn left onto Rruga Dervish Hima. Continue for about 5 km, following signs for Kanina. At the fork, take the right towards Kaninë. The castle will be visible on the hilltop. Parking is available near the castle entrance.

From Vlora's main bus station, take a bus to Kaninë. The fare is approximately 100 ALL, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Once in Kaninë, ask locals for directions to Kanina Castle, situated on the hill. Alternatively, walk approximately 1 km uphill to reach the castle.

If you are in Kaninë, head towards the main road and follow the signs to Kanina Castle. Be prepared for a steep, 30-minute hike from the village to the castle. The path offers panoramic views.
