From Corfu Town, follow the main road towards the northwest of the island. The drive to Afionas is approximately 35 km and takes around 40 minutes. As you approach Afionas, follow signs for the village. Be aware that the roads leading to Afionas can be narrow and winding. Parking is available in a paid car park just before entering the village, costing around €5 for the day. From the car park, it's a short, uphill walk to the Sunset Viewpoint.
Public Transport
Take the A6 Green Bus from Corfu Town to Afionas. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes, with services running twice daily from Monday to Friday. A one-way ticket costs around €4-€6. The bus stop in Afionas is a short walk from the Sunset Viewpoint. Check the bus timetable in advance to plan your trip, as services are limited.
Walking
If you are already in the Afionas area, such as Agios Georgios Pagon, you can hike to Afionas. Follow the coastal path towards Afionas, which is located on a hilltop. The hike is moderately challenging and takes approximately 1-2 hours, offering scenic views along the way. Once in Afionas, follow signs to the Sunset Viewpoint.
