    From Kolonja, start by heading northwest on the SH86 road towards the town of Perrenjas. Continue on the SH86 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the SH3. Take a left onto SH3 and continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Libohove. From Libohove, follow the signs towards the village of Zagori. Upon reaching Zagori, you will need to park your car as Drakolimni is accessible only by foot from this point. The trailhead is located near the church in the village. Be prepared for a hike of about 2-3 hours to reach the lake.

    To reach Drakolimni using public transportation from Kolonja, take a bus from the central bus station to Perrenjas. Buses operate regularly and the fare is typically around 200 ALL. After arriving in Perrenjas, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Libohove. The fare for this segment is approximately 100 ALL. Once in Libohove, you will have to either hire a local taxi to take you to Zagori or walk to the village, which is about 4 kilometers away. From Zagori, you will need to hike approximately 2-3 hours to reach Drakolimni.
