A distinguishing feature is its squat minaret, which adds to the mosque's distinctive silhouette against Berat's skyline. The interior boasts paintings dating back to 1927-1928, showcasing intricate artistic details. The mosque is built on two levels to accommodate the sloping terrain, with the lower level rising to a portico with columns of grey stone circles.The Bachelors' Mosque is more than just a historical building; it's a cultural touchstone that reflects the diversity and history of the region. Its architecture is in perfect proportion to the surrounding houses of the Mangalem quarter.
