Constructed in 1828, the mosque earned its name from its historical role as a gathering place for the city's bachelors – unmarried shop assistants and junior craftsmen who frequented it.Located in the lower Mangalem neighborhood, near the Osumi River, the mosque's design incorporates two stories with arcades gracing three sides. The interior boasts paintings dating back to 1927-1928, showcasing intricate artistic details.
