Skanderbeg Square: Tirana's Central Hub

Skanderbeg Square stands as the heart of Tirana, Albania, a vast space of 40,000 square meters dedicated to the country's national hero. After Tirana became the capital in 1920, the square transformed from a roundabout with a central fountain during the monarchy to a space dominated by a statue of Stalin during the communist era.
