Ipsos beach Travel Guide

Ipsos Beach, situated 14km north of Corfu Town, is a dynamic tourist destination that has been attracting visitors since the 1970s. The beach itself is a narrow strip, approximately 1.5km long, composed of pebbles and shingle, sometimes referred to as the 'Golden Mile'. The clear, shallow waters are ideal for swimming and various water sports, including jet skiing, parasailing, and boat tours. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, and several jetties provide access to watersports facilities.Ipsos is known for its lively atmosphere, with numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants lining the main coastal road. While offering a vibrant nightlife, it maintains a more relaxed vibe compared to Corfu's prime party destination, Kavos. The village sits at the foot of Mount Pantokrator, providing stunning views of the Albanian coastline.Beyond the beach, visitors can explore the nearby Agios Markos Monastery or take a boat trip to other resorts like Kassiopi. Aqualand water park is also within easy reach, offering family fun with its pools and slides.
