From Skanderbeg Square in central Tirana, walk south along Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard. Continue past the University of Tirana until you reach Rruga Herman Gmeiner. Turn left and walk a few minutes to find Tirana Park on your right. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport

From your location in Tirana, find the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards 'Liqeni i Tiranës' (Tirana Lake). Get off at the stop closest to Rruga Herman Gmeiner. Walk down Rruga Herman Gmeiner a short distance until you reach Tirana Park on your right. Bus fare is approximately 40 Lek. A monthly pass costs around 1,542 Lek.

Tirana Park, or Parku i Madh, is a sprawling green oasis in the heart of Tirana, Albania, providing a much-needed respite from the urban environment. Built between 1955 and 1956 based on a Bulgarian design, the park has evolved into a cherished space for recreation, culture, and remembrance.The park's centerpiece is a 55-hectare artificial lake, constructed in 1955, offering opportunities for fishing and swimming. Surrounding the lake are diverse landscapes with approximately 120 species of trees, bushes, and flowers. The Royal Palace, initially intended as a residence for King Zog I, stands within the park.
