    From the main bus station in Pogradec, take a minibus heading towards Mokër. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Mokër village. From Mokër, follow the local signs to the Royal Tombs, approximately 1.5 kilometers away. Minibus fare: Approximately 100-200 Lekë (0.80-1.60 EUR).

    From the center of Pogradec, head northeast on Rruga Shën Mëri towards Rruga e Dajlani. Continue on Rruga e Dajlani until you reach the intersection with Rruga e Dajlani and turn left. After walking about 500 meters, you will see signs for Mokër. Follow the road as it curves and ascends into the hills. Once you reach the village of Mokër, look for local signs directing you to the Royal Tombs, which are located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the center of Mokër. The path to the tombs may be slightly steep; follow the well-trodden path leading up the hillside. Walking distance: Approximately 9-10 kilometers from Pogradec city center to the Royal Tombs of Selca.

The Royal Tombs of Selca, located near Pogradec, Albania, represent a significant archaeological site that was once part of the ancient Illyrian city of Pelion. Situated on the right bank of the Shkumbin River at an elevation of 1040 meters, the necropolis contains five rock-cut monumental tombs dating back to the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. These tombs are believed to be the final resting places of Illyrian kings and members of the ruling families. Selca served as an important trading and administrative center for the Dassaretae region during the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. The city's strategic location along a route connecting Albania and Macedonia contributed to its economic and political importance. The tombs themselves showcase a blend of Illyrian and Hellenistic architectural styles, with Ionic columns adorning some of the facades.
