From Rrogozhina, head northwest on SH6 road. Continue on SH6 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with SH1. At the junction, turn left onto SH1 towards Tirana. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the signs indicating the turnoff to Bovilla Lake. This will involve a right turn onto a smaller road. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, passing through a few villages and keeping an eye out for local signage directing you to the lake. The road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Once you reach Bovilla Lake, there are places to park along the roadside.

From Rrogozhina, take a local bus or minivan heading towards Tirana. The bus station is located in the center of Rrogozhina. The fare is usually around 200 ALL ($2) per person. Once you arrive in Tirana, go to the main bus terminal and find a bus or minivan heading towards Librazhdi. Inform the driver that you’re heading to Bovilla Lake and they should drop you off at the nearest point to the lake entrance. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately 150 ALL ($1.50). From the drop-off point, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi to reach the lake directly, which could cost around 500 ALL ($5).
