Getting there

Driving

From Kruje, head north towards the village of Zallë. The road to Gamti Mountain is not well-marked, so using a GPS navigation system is recommended. The drive takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Be prepared for some unpaved and bumpy sections, especially as you approach the mountain. Parking is available near the trailhead. Note that parking can be limited during peak season.

Taxi

A taxi from Kruje to the base of Gamti Mountain will cost approximately 1500-2500 ALL. Negotiate the price before starting your journey. The ride takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on road conditions. Arrange for the taxi to pick you up at a specific time for your return trip, as taxis are not readily available at the mountain.

Hiking

From Bovilla lake, follow the marked trail towards Gamti Mountain. The hike is moderately challenging and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit. The trail involves some steep inclines and rocky terrain, so wear appropriate footwear. There is a stairs fee of 1 euro.
