Walking
From the Sarandë city center or promenade, walk south along the waterfront. Follow the coastal road for approximately 3 km, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Sarandë Lighthouse. The walk takes around 40-50 minutes, offering views of the sea and coastline. Note that the walk involves some uphill sections.
Public Transport
From the Sarandë bus station near Friendship Park, take a local bus or minibus towards Ksamil or Butrint. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Sarandë Lighthouse stop. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the lighthouse, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. The bus fare is 150 lekë to Ksamil.
Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Sarandë. A taxi ride from the city center to the lighthouse typically costs around 1800 lek. Ensure the driver knows the destination. Alternatively, use the Patoko ride-hailing app for transparent pricing. Taxi stands are located near the port, Nëne Tereza Square, and close to Hotel Butrinti.
