Start at the Tepelenë city center, near the main square. From there, head southeast towards the main road (Rruga e Tepelenës) and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the direction of the Vjosa River. Once you reach the river, take a left and continue walking alongside it. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach a small bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the path that leads you into the hills. As you ascend, you will see signs directing you to Megali (Ano) Grava. Follow these signs for another 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at your destination.

From Tepelenë, head to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for a bus heading towards Gjirokastër or Saranda. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Megali (Ano) Grava. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. After you disembark, follow the signs towards the hiking path leading to Megali (Ano) Grava. This final stretch of the journey will require about 20-30 minutes of walking uphill.
