The park shelters various species of deciduous and coniferous trees and a wide array of flora, providing refuge for endangered wildlife like bears, wolves, and birds of prey. In Albanian folklore, Mount Tomorr is personified as Baba Tomorri, an old giant with a long white beard, watching over the land with four eagles as his companions.
