Getting There

    To reach Mount Tomorr, start from Berat and drive towards Poliçan. Before reaching Poliçan, turn onto the newly paved road to Kulmak Pass, where you'll find one of the oldest Bektashi tekkes in Albania. From Kulmak Pass, continue on the well-maintained gravel road for approximately 800 meters to reach the summit. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this final stretch, especially during the summer and autumn months. Be aware that the road can be bumpy and steep with tight switchbacks. There are no gas stations on the mountain, so fill up your tank in Berat. Parking is available near the summit. There are no tolls or mandatory access fees.

    For a hiking approach to Mount Tomorr, begin your journey in the village of Dardhë, accessible from Berat or Gramsh. From Dardhë, follow the trail leading to the summit, which is approximately 8 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of over 1450 meters. The hike is considered difficult and typically takes around 5.5 hours to ascend. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear, including sturdy shoes, water, and sunscreen. There are no specific costs associated with hiking, but you may need to arrange transportation to Dardhë. A guesthouse in Dardhë can arrange transport with a 4x4 vehicle.
