Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Old Bazaar, head uphill following the signs towards the viewpoint. The walk is steep and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The path is cobbled and can be slippery, so wear appropriate footwear. There are no entrance fees or tolls for accessing the viewpoint.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in Gjirokaster and can take you to a point relatively close to the viewpoint, minimizing the uphill walk. A short taxi ride from the city center to the base of the viewpoint path will cost approximately 300-500 Lek. From there, it's a 5-10 minute walk uphill to the viewpoint.

  • Driving

    If driving, follow the main road uphill as far as possible. Be aware that the roads are narrow and steep. Limited free parking is available near the top, but it can be challenging to find a spot, especially during peak season. An underground parking garage is located near the Old Town, costing approximately €2 for 3 hours. From the parking garage, it is still a 15-20 minute walk uphill to the viewpoint.
