    To reach Lambaesis via public transport, start at the Timgad bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Tazoult or the nearby area. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Lambaesis. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk about 500 meters to the entrance of the Roman Military City. Bus fare from Timgad to Tazoult is approximately 20-50 DZD.

    If driving to Lambaesis from the center of Timgad, head north on Avenue de la Révolution towards the N31 road. Continue straight for about 7 kilometers until the F7R3+JV2 intersection. Turn right onto N31 and follow the road for another 4 kilometers. Signs will point towards Lambaesis on the left. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that traffic can be congested, especially during peak hours. There are no tolls on this route.

The camp of the third legion (Legio III Augusta) was established during the time of Roman emperor Hadrian. Lambaesis was not only a military outpost but also a center of commerce and culture, making it a significant hub in the region.
