Getting There

  • Walking

    Begin at the center of Fagatogo, near the Fagatogo Marketplace. Head west towards the main road, known as Marine Drive, which runs along the coast. Once you reach Marine Drive, turn right and follow the road. Continue walking along the coastline until you reach the intersection with Tafuna Main Road. At this intersection, you will see a large sign for Tafuna. Cross over to Tafuna Main Road and continue walking straight for about 1 mile. As you walk, you'll pass by local shops and eateries which can serve as good landmarks. Keep an eye out for the GIAS sign on your left side as you approach the driveway.

  • Bicycle

    Start your journey from the Fagatogo Marketplace. Rent a bicycle from a local shop if you don't have one. Head towards Marine Drive, cycling west along the coast. After about half a mile, you’ll reach the intersection with Tafuna Main Road. Turn left onto Tafuna Main Road and continue cycling straight for approximately 1 mile. Look for GIAS on your left side; it will be marked clearly. Make sure to ride safely and obey local traffic rules.

    From the center of Fagatogo, locate the nearest bus stop along Marine Drive. Take a bus that is heading towards Tafuna. Once you board, inform the driver that you are going to GIAS, and they will assist you with directions. The bus will take you along Marine Drive and then onto Tafuna Main Road. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will reach Tafuna Main Road. Get off when the driver announces Tafuna Main Road or when you see the GIAS sign. Walk back a short distance on Tafuna Main Road to reach your destination.
