The most common way to get around is by biking or riding in the back of a truck. You may need to arrange transportation in advance through your accommodation or local contacts. Alternatively, travelers can take the MV Manu'atele cargo boat from Pago Pago to the Manu'a Islands. The boat travels every two weeks and costs $30 each way. The journey takes about eight hours. From the Manu'a Islands, you may need to take a local boat to Ofu.
