Walking
If you are already in Lauli'i, you can walk to the Breakers Point Trail trailhead. Depending on your starting point, the walk may take around 30-40 minutes. Follow the main road towards the coastline, and look for signs indicating the trailhead. The path may be a bit rocky, so ensure you wear suitable footwear.
Public Transport
From Pago Pago, catch a bus to Lauli'i. Bus services run regularly, and the fare is typically around $2.00. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Lauli'i junction. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles to reach the Breakers Point Trail trailhead. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the walk may require navigating some uneven terrain.
Car
If traveling by car, start from the National Park of American Samoa Visitor Center in Pago Pago. Head east on Route 1 for approximately 9 miles. Continue on the road as it winds through the coastline until you reach the junction for Lauli'i. Turn left onto the road leading to Lauli'i. Follow the signs for Breakers Point Trail. After about 2 miles, you will arrive at a small parking area near the trailhead. Parking is free.
