Experience Via Ferrada Canal de la Mora

Getting There

    Start at the center of Canillo, near the Church of Sant Serni. From the church, head east on Carrer de la Santissima Trinitat. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the main road, CG-2. Cross the road carefully and follow the sidewalk along CG-2 heading north. After about 500 meters, you will see signs directing you towards the hiking trails. Follow the signs for the GR-11 trail, which will lead you up into the mountains.

    Once you are on the GR-11 trail, continue following the marked path for about 2 kilometers. The trail will lead you uphill through beautiful scenery. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the direction to Via Ferrada Canal de la Mora. As you approach the area, the trail will start to narrow and become more rocky. You will know you are close when you start to see climbing equipment and other climbers preparing for the via ferrata.
