Rack Railway
The primary access to the Basílica Santuari de la Mare de Déu de Núria is via the Vall de Núria rack railway from Ribes de Freser or Queralbs [i]. From either of these towns, purchase a ticket for the Cremallera (rack railway). The journey offers stunning views of the valley. A round-trip ticket from Ribes de Freser costs approximately €30 [i]. The ride takes about 40 minutes from Ribes de Freser and slightly less from Queralbs. Upon arrival at the Núria station, the sanctuary is a short walk away.

For experienced hikers, it is possible to reach Núria on foot via several mountain trails [i]. These routes are challenging and require proper gear and preparation. One popular trail starts from Queralbs and ascends through the valley. The hike can take several hours, depending on your pace and the specific route chosen. Ensure you have a map, plenty of water, and appropriate footwear. Note that there are no mandatory costs associated with hiking to Núria, but it's essential to be self-sufficient.
