Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the central area of Encamp, near the main church (Església de Sant Miquel). From the church, head east on Carrer de la Unió towards Avinguda de les Ferreres. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avinguda de la Villette. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the way to the Port d'Envalira. As you walk further, the road will incline, and you'll be surrounded by beautiful mountain views. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the monument located at Collada del Encamp, where you can find the 'Homenatge als homes que van fer possible l’obertura del Port d’Envalira'.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the main bus station in Encamp, board the bus that goes to Pas de la Casa. Make sure to check the schedule as the buses may not run frequently. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Pas de la Casa, disembark at the last stop. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the monument, which is located at Collada del Encamp. Walking from Pas de la Casa to the monument will take approximately 15 minutes. Follow the road uphill, and you will see the monument on your left.
