Hiking
From Encamp town center, follow the 'Cami de les Fonts' (Paths of the Springs). This well-marked trail leads to Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Refugi de l'Illa. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and water.
Public Transport
From Encamp, take the L1 bus towards 'Les Bons' and get off at the stop 'La Mosquera'. From there, follow the signs towards Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror, about a 30-minute walk uphill through forests and streams. Bus fare is approximately €2-€3.
