From Cortals d'Encamp, the refuge is accessible via a well-marked hiking trail. Follow the Camí de Brigal, indicated by red trail markers. The hike is approximately 2 hours with an ascent of 480 meters and is considered an easy climb. No fees are required to access the trail or the refuge.

Drive to Cortals d'Encamp or Borda del Tresà. From there, follow the hiking trail towards Refugi d'Ensagents. Parking is available at Cortals d'Encamp. Parking costs are not available.
