From Cortals d'Encamp, the refuge is accessible via a well-marked hiking trail. Follow the Camí de Brigal, indicated by red trail markers. The hike is approximately 2 hours with an ascent of 480 meters and is considered an easy climb. No fees are required to access the trail or the refuge.
Driving

Drive to Cortals d'Encamp or Borda del Tresà. From there, follow the hiking trail towards Refugi d'Ensagents. Parking is available at Cortals d'Encamp. Parking costs are not available.

With a capacity of 14 people, it provides basic accommodation for those seeking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Andorra's mountains. Outside, visitors can find barbecue facilities and a source of fresh water just a few meters away.The refuge is open year-round, although maintenance is typically carried out during the summer months, ensuring the facilities are clean and stocked with firewood and a first-aid kit. Mobile phone coverage is available in the area. The surrounding landscape boasts diverse flora and fauna, with trails leading to glacial lakes and panoramic viewpoints such as Alt del Griu. The area is ideal for hiking, with routes ranging from easy walks to more challenging climbs.
