Walking
From the Bolands village center, head east on the main road (Sir George Walter Highway). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Dockyard Drive. Keep walking straight for another 1 kilometer, where you'll see signs for Nelson's Dockyard. Follow the signs to the Dow's Hill Interpretation Centre, which is located on your left after you pass through the entrance to Nelson's Dockyard National Park.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Bolands village center and proceed east on Sir George Walter Highway. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Dockyard Drive. Cycle for approximately 1 kilometer, keeping an eye out for signs for Nelson's Dockyard. The Dow's Hill Interpretation Centre is on your left just after you enter the Nelson's Dockyard area.
