From the center of Codrington, head north along the main road, Valley Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Sir George Walter Highway. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing toward St. John's and the VC Bird Monument. Cross the road carefully, and continue walking straight on Valley Road for another 2 kilometers. The VC Bird Monument will be on your right, just before reaching the outskirts of St. John's. Look for the large monument and the small park area around it.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Codrington and ride north on Valley Road. Follow the same route as on foot, which is about a 3.5-kilometer ride. The journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes. As you ride, enjoy the views of the local landscape, and be cautious of any traffic. Once you reach the intersection with the Sir George Walter Highway, ensure to navigate carefully and continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you see the VC Bird Monument on your right.
