• Car

  If you're traveling by car from Atlantic Patagonia, you can start your journey in the city of Comodoro Rivadavia. Head southwest on Route 3 towards Río Gallegos. The drive will take approximately 6 to 7 hours, covering around 500 kilometers. Make sure to refuel in Río Gallegos, as services can be sparse. Once in Río Gallegos, take Route 40 heading north towards El Chaltén. Continue for about 250 kilometers until you reach the town of El Chaltén, which serves as a base for exploring Patagonia andina.
