From El Chaltén, the most common approach to view Torre Egger involves hiking towards the Cerro Torre area. Follow the well-marked trail towards Laguna Torre. The trail is clearly signposted from El Chaltén. After a few hours of hiking, you'll reach viewpoints where Torre Egger can be seen in the distance, often shrouded in clouds. There are no costs associated with hiking the trail.
