From the center of El Chaltén, head south on Avenida San Martín for about 1.5 kilometers. Turn left onto the dirt road at the sign for Laguna Capri. Continue driving on this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area. Park your car here. Note that this is a gravel road, so drive carefully. There is no fee for parking.

Public Transportation
From the El Chaltén bus terminal, take a local shuttle service that goes to the Laguna Capri trailhead. These shuttles typically run every 30 minutes and cost around 500 ARS one way. After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at the trailhead. From here, you’ll need to hike approximately 2.5 kilometers along the marked trail to reach Laguna Capri. The hike is moderately challenging and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours.
